Chris Hawkett is the Director and Principal Builder at Hawkett Constructions.

 

Industry experience

A carpenter by trade, Chris has additional qualifications in building and construction – earning study distinctions on numerous occasions.

Chris applies a blend of practical and innovative construction methods to ensure a job is not only completed on budget and on time, endeavoring to always meets his clients’ expectations in full.

Chris started working in the building trade in residential cottage work, then spending five years working in the UK and Australia as a Leading Hand and Site Supervisor for High Life Developments and Bellevarde Constructions - both companies specialising in building and renovating exclusive high-end residences.

Now in his own business, Chris’ wealth of experience and knowledge enable him to deliver a superior quality finish on all projects, with a focus on design consultation and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Achievements and Qualifications

Chris has held a full builders licence since January 2009. He also holds the relevant OH&S qualifications for the industry and in 2012 obtained his bonded asbestos removal license.

After completing his Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery with distinction in 2004, Chris continued on to complete a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Residential) and was awarded Dux of the course (having also been Dux in Years 1 & 2).

In 2004, he won the Rotary Club of Balgowlah’s 'Apprentice of the Year' award, and was also a nominee for the Sydney-wide Rotary award.
